Grants are awarded quarterly in the spring, summer, fall and winter. Applications are due on April 1 (spring), July 1 (summer), October 1 (fall) and December 30 (winter). If any of these dates falls on a weekend or federal holiday, applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on the preceding business day. Grant decisions are made weeks after the applications are due, after the Trustees have reviewed and evaluated all applications for a particular grant cycle. All applicants will be notified by either postal mail or email whether or not the Trustees have approved the requested grant. Grant amounts vary widely. They have ranged from as small as $1,500 to as large as $1,000,000 . Grant amounts vary by organization and need.


The Ruby W. and LaVon P. Linn Foundation is operated exclusively for charitable, scientific, educational, and religious purposes.
